Bru Moytura (formerly The Gyreum), Ireland’s first ecolodge to be awarded the EU Eco-Label for tourist accommodation, offers a venue like none other.

Located near Castlebaldwin, Co. Sligo, overlooking Lough Arrow and nestling in the heart of Sligo’s cairn topped mountains.

As you walk in the front door, you enter the main room, both grand and cosy at the same time. A sunken circle at its centre, houses comfy seating and cushions, perfect to warm up by the fire, read a book or simply get lost in thought. Around the outer wall, those keen on japanese-style sleeping arrangements will find cosy cuby-style beds (each with its own curtain, light and space for luggage. Plenty of spaces to practice yoga, find your own nook, grab a book from our library or play a game of chess.

Radiating out from the centre are; the sunlit dining room, the bathrooms, dorm rooms and botanical conservatories. Feel freel then to get on your wellies and

large central fireplace and large movie screen you can spend time relaxing in the circular hall or reading in the cosy, glass domed library.

Alternatively you can explore ancient archaeology sites or surf or walk in the Bricklieve mountains or do damn all. The space is available for hire for retreats, quiet private events, as well as think-tank team building workshops. Close by is trout filled Loughs Bo and Arrow, epic hikes, wonderful walks and a short drive to the Atlantic Ocean, Bru Moytura is a perfect base to explore more of what County Sligo and the North West of Ireland has to offer.
